Before we weigh options, let's name what you are actually deciding. Is this about the role, or about the move?
Honestly, the move. The role is good. I'm worried about my parents.
That matters. You ranked family proximity and long-term responsibility above income earlier this week. Should those still lead here?

Reflection prompt

If you take this role and nothing else changes for three years, what would you regret not having arranged first?

Write your reflection…

Sakinnah guides reasoning. It does not issue rulings or clinical advice.

Not therapy
A decision process, not treatment.
Not a fatwa service
Ethical reflection, never religious rulings.
Not a chatbot
A framework with structure, memory and accountability.

The problem

People don't lack information. They lack a process.

Marriage. Migration. Money. Career. Family duty. The decisions that shape a life are made in the worst conditions: under pressure, in private, with advice pulling in five directions. Most people decide, then spend years managing the consequences.

  • Pressure distorts judgment

Urgency framing turns reversible choices into emergencies.

  • Values get left out

People optimise for what is measurable, not for what matters to them.

  • Nothing is recorded

The reasoning disappears, so the same mistake repeats.

Why current solutions fail

Everything available today answers questions. Nothing helps you decide.

General AI assistants

Optimised for a fast answer. No values model, no memory of your life, no accountability for the outcome.

Therapy

Built to treat distress. Excellent, necessary — and not designed to structure a specific decision.

Religious Q&A

Answers a question of ruling. Does not walk you through reasoning, trade-offs or consequences.

Journaling and productivity apps

Capture what you write. Provide no framework and no challenge.

Friends and family

Loving, biased, and inconsistent. Advice reflects their fears as much as your values.

Why now: capable reasoning models arrived at the same moment that trust in generic AI advice began to fall. The opportunity is not a smarter answer. It is a trustworthy process.

Introducing Sakinnah

A decision intelligence platform.

Sakinnah takes one decision at a time and moves it through a structured framework. It asks what you are really deciding, makes your values explicit, maps the real options, tests your reasoning, checks alignment with ethical principles, and records the outcome.

You leave with a decision you can defend — to your family, and to yourself.

What it is

  • A structured decision framework
  • Values-first reasoning
  • Evidence-based psychology
  • Authentic Islamic ethical principles
  • A private record of how you decide

What it is not

  • Therapy or clinical care
  • A fatwa service
  • A mental health app
  • A religious chatbot
  • A general AI assistant

The product

A decision, taken properly, from first doubt to final record.

A guided dialogue that asks better questions instead of handing out answers.

The Clarity Framework

Six stages. The same rigour every time.

The framework is the product. It is what makes two people with the same question arrive at two well-reasoned answers — theirs, not ours.

01

Frame

State the real decision in one sentence. Most people are deciding something other than what they said.

02

Values

Name and rank what matters. Your weighting, not ours.

03

Options

Map every path, including waiting and doing nothing.

04

Test

Challenge assumptions, evidence, reversibility and cost of being wrong.

05

Align

Check the leading option against ethical principles and long-term responsibility.

06

Commit

Decide, record the reasoning, set a review date.

How it works

Three steps. Fifteen minutes. One clear decision.

Step 1

Bring one decision

Type it as you would say it out loud. No forms, no onboarding quiz.

Step 2

Work through the framework

Sakinnah guides the stages, asks the harder question, and keeps your values in view.

Step 3

Leave with a record

A one-page summary, the conditions you set, and a review date that comes back to you.

Responsible AI

AI is necessary here. Unconstrained AI is not acceptable here.

A structured decision requires something no static tool can do: understand a specific life, hold contradictory values in view, and ask the next right question. That is why AI is required — and why every part of it is bounded.

Model-agnostic reasoning layer

The framework, not the model, is the moat. Models are interchangeable; the decision logic, prompts and evaluation suite are ours.

Values and constraint modelling

Each decision carries an explicit values weighting that the system must reason against — and be measured against.

Scholar-reviewed ethical knowledge base

Curated principles with provenance. The system reasons with principles; it never issues rulings.

Refusal and escalation policy

Clinical risk, legal exposure and questions requiring a qualified scholar are routed out, not answered.

Evaluation before release

Every change is scored against a decision-quality suite: coherence, bias handling, refusal accuracy, alignment to stated values.

Private by architecture

Your decisions are yours. No advertising model, no training on your reflections.

Trust and safety

Trust is the product. These are our commitments.

No rulings

Sakinnah does not issue fatwas. Where a ruling is required, it tells you to ask a qualified scholar.

No clinical claims

Sakinnah is not therapy or medical care. Signs of crisis end the session with real-world resources.

Your data, your decision

Export or delete everything at any time. Reflections are not used to train models.

Transparent reasoning

Every prompt and summary shows why a question was asked and what it was based on.

Human oversight

An ethics and scholarly review process governs the knowledge base and refusal policy.

No engagement games

No streaks, no notifications engineered for compulsion. Success is a decision made, not time spent.

Vision

If we succeed, deciding well becomes something people can learn.

Now

Guided decision journeys

The Clarity Framework, decision summaries and the Clarity Record, in private beta.

Next

Decision intelligence for life stages

Marriage, relocation, career, money and family duty — each with its own tested journey.

Then

Trusted layer for institutions

Universities, employers and family offices adopting the framework under their own governance.

Long term

The standard for value-aligned decisions

Infrastructure that any product can build on when a decision must be made well.

From the founder

“I watched people I love make decisions that shaped decades in an afternoon. Not for lack of intelligence or faith. For lack of a process they trusted.”

Sakinnah exists to give that process a form: rigorous enough for the hardest choices, calm enough to use when you are afraid, and honest about what it will not do.

We are building it slowly and in public with early users, scholars and clinicians — because a company that asks for trust at this depth has to earn it before it scales.

Why this team

  • Lived proximity to the problem

Built from the community it serves, not for it from the outside.

  • Product discipline

Shipped software judged on outcomes, not engagement.

  • Governed by expertise

Scholarly and clinical review built into the release process from day one.

Questions

The questions we get asked first.

Is Sakinnah therapy?

No. Sakinnah is a decision intelligence platform. It does not diagnose, treat or replace clinical care, and it ends sessions that show signs of crisis with real-world resources.

Does Sakinnah give religious rulings?

No. It reasons with ethical principles and tells you clearly when a question requires a qualified scholar.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

A general assistant produces an answer. Sakinnah runs a framework: your values are explicit, your reasoning is tested, the decision is recorded, and the outcome is reviewed.

Why will people pay?

Because the alternative is expensive. A single well-made decision about marriage, migration or money is worth more than years of subscription.

Why will they come back?

Life keeps producing decisions, and the Clarity Record compounds. The more you decide with Sakinnah, the better it understands how you decide.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your reflections are yours, exportable and deletable, and are not used to train models.

Who is it for?

Adults facing consequential personal decisions who want structure and ethical grounding — beginning with Muslim professionals and families, and extending to anyone who wants values-aligned reasoning.
